ASHTANGA CLASSES
In Ashtanga Yoga we string together the body postures (asanas) in flow and synchronize them with the breath. The Ashtanga system has six fixed series with a repetitive sequence and increasing difficulty.
At the studio Jivamukti Yoga Bern we teach Ashtanga in the traditional Mysore style. Here, the practitioners practice in their own breathing flow and are individually supervised by a teacher - like a one-to-one lesson in a group. Online we will offer guided Ashtanga classes, so-called Led Classes as well as tutorials to improve your practice.
JIVAMUKTI CLASSES
Jivamukti Yoga is a creative and powerful yoga method that we practice in a dynamic vinyasa style. In connection with the breath we string together the postures (asanas) in energetically meaningful sequences. Practicing the asanas, Sanskrit chanting, music, meditation, studying the scriptures and deep relaxation make Jivamukti Yoga a holistic practice. The energies vibrate on different levels. The asana sequences are varied and accompanied by music to create an inspiring teaching.
